American Legion Post 92 awards four $500 scholarships and the American Legion Auxiliary awards two $500 scholarships to Rochester high school seniors each year.
BOYS STATE SPONSORSHIPS
American Legion Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high school students. William T. McCoy Post 92 awards four Boys State Sponsorships every year.
GIRL STATE SPONSORSHIPS
American Legion Girl State Sponsorships are awarded to four high school students every year by the American Legion Auxilary.
NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS
The 40/8 awards five $1,000 Nursing Scholarships each year to Nursing students.

PAST PRESIDENTS PARLEY HEALTH CARE SCHOLARSHIP: The one-year $1,000 scholarship has been established to assist needy and deserving students or adults to further their education in any phase of the health care field. Application must be sent directly to American Legion Auxiliary, State Veterans Service Bldg, 20 W 12th St - #314, St. Paul, MN 55155 before March 15, 2009.
DEPARTMENT OF MINNESOTA SCHOLARSHIP: Seven (7) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to deserving sons or daughters, grandsons or granddaughters of a veteran who are in need of financial assistance to avail them of higher education. Application must be sent to American Legion Auxiliary Unit #92 president before March 5, 2009.
UNIT #92 – ROCHESTER: Two (2) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to deserving sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters or step-relatives of a veteran. The veteran MUST BE a member of the Post #92 American Legion in Rochester, MN. Application must be sent to Auxiliary Unit #92 president by March 31, 2009.
